By accessing or using the Zero Degree Media website (zerodegreemedia.com) or any of our services, including our SMS/text messaging program, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Description of services
Zero Degree Media provides custom website design, development, hosting, and ongoing maintenance services for small businesses, with a focus on contractors and service businesses. Our services include:
- Custom website design and development
- Website hosting and SSL certificates
- Ongoing website maintenance and unlimited edits
- Optional add-on services including SEO, online booking integration, and analytics setup
- SMS/text messaging communications for service updates, appointment reminders, and promotional offers (with your consent)
Plans, billing, and cancellation
We offer our website services two ways: as a monthly subscription (Starter and Pro), or as a one-time Full Build with an optional monthly Care Plan. Pricing shown on this website is for general information and may change.
Monthly subscriptions
- Monthly subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis
- Payments are due on the billing date each month
- You may cancel your subscription at any time with no cancellation penalties or long-term contract obligations
- Upon cancellation, your website and hosting services will remain active through the end of your current billing period
- We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days written notice to active subscribers
One-time Full Build
- A Full Build is paid as a one-time project fee rather than a subscription
- There is no recurring commitment, and no contract term
- An optional Care Plan may be added for hosting, edits, and updates; it is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time
Payment handling
You are responsible for keeping your payment information current. Late or failed payments may result in service suspension. All payments are processed by third-party payment providers, and we do not store full payment card details on this website.
If you have a signed agreement with us
Where you and Zero Degree Media have signed a separate service contract or subscription agreement, that document governs the work we perform for you. These Terms apply to your use of this website and fill any gaps, but they do not replace or override a signed agreement. If the two conflict, the signed agreement controls.
Intellectual property
All content on the Zero Degree Media website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Zero Degree Media and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.
Client project work shown in our portfolio is displayed with the client's consent, and each client's own brand and content remain theirs.
Who owns the website we build for you
This depends on which plan you are on. In both cases, the text, images, logos, and other media you give us always remain yours.
Monthly subscription (Starter and Pro)
Your subscription buys the ongoing right to use the website while your account is active — think of it as leasing a finished site we build, host, and maintain for you. The website's code, layout, and structure remain the intellectual property of Zero Degree Media, and are licensed to you for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, you keep your own content and may take it with you, but the site itself does not transfer to you.
One-time Full Build
Upon full payment, you own the website we deliver — its code, layout, design, and content — and you may host it, modify it, or move it to another provider at any time. What we keep is the reusable framework behind it: the components, templates, and patterns we build every site from, which we continue to own and reuse on other projects. In other words, you own your site; you do not acquire our underlying toolkit.
Any different arrangement must be agreed in writing.
User conduct
When using our website and services, you agree not to:
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Provide false or misleading information
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
Third-party links
This site links to third-party websites, including client portfolio sites, social media profiles, and service providers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zero Degree Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Disclaimer of warranties
